Weekend Open Houses & Buyer Events: October 10-11, 2026

This weekend has a lot to see for South Florida buyers. Below is a dated lineup of real open houses across Palm Beach and Broward counties for Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, plus model-home tours, first-time buyer workshops, and honest notes on where financing events stand. Everything here was pulled live from listing and event sources on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, and like any open house schedule, it can shift, so give the linked pages a quick look before you head out.

How to Use This List

A few things to know before you load up the car:

  • These are live listings. Every open house below was on real listing feeds when I checked on October 7, 2026. Sellers' agents set the times, and they change without much warning, so confirm the hours on the linked page before you go.
  • Most open houses need no appointment. You can usually just walk in. A few ask you to sign in, and some neighborhoods are gated, so it helps to call ahead if you run into a gate.
  • Bring a notebook, not pressure. This is your chance to compare homes, neighborhoods, and floor plans without any commitment. Nobody expects you to buy on the spot.
  • I can get you in early. If a home on this list looks like your budget, text me the address and I will try to get you a private tour before the crowd shows up: 561-915-8590.

Saturday, October 10

The Saturday lineup is strongest in Boynton Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach, Coconut Creek, and Margate. Prices are shown where they were listed on the feeds.

Palm Beach County

Boynton Beach

  • 12pm-3pm1003 Copley Ct - listed around $406K, a genuinely doable single-family budget in Palm Beach County and a great first stop for first-time buyers.
  • 1pm-3pm5658 Parkwalk Cir E - townhome in the Parkwalk community, low-maintenance and easy to picture yourself in.

Lake Worth Beach

  • 10am-2pm1117 N B St - a nice long window in the north end of town.
  • 11am-1pm6653 Ashburn Rd - west of downtown, quick and easy to tour.
  • 12pm-2pm334 Wellesley Dr and 1513 N K St - two chances to compare classic Lake Worth bungalow-style neighborhoods back to back.
  • 1pm-3pm5098 Massy Dr - out in the west Lake Worth area, where the price per square foot tends to be friendlier.

Delray Beach

  • 11am-2pm16421 Berry Way - west Delray, near the newer communities where you get more square footage for the price.
  • 11am-3pm4415 Sherwood Forest Dr - a long window for a classic established Delray neighborhood.
  • 12pm-2pm5606 Aspen Ridge Circle - in the Delray Lakes area, worth the drive to compare against east-side pricing.

Broward County

Deerfield Beach

  • 11am-1pm3307 Deer Creek Alba Way - listed around $395K in the Deer Creek community, one of the best value pockets in Broward right now.
  • 12pm-2pm190 SE 2nd St - listed around $315K near downtown Deerfield; about as close to an affordable beach-town starter as it gets.
  • 12pm-2pm406 Republic Ct - southeast Deerfield, close to the beach side.
  • 12pm-3pm701 SE 21st Ave #302 - a condo unit, easy to lock and leave.

Pompano Beach

Coconut Creek

  • 10am-2pm6871 NW 43rd Ave - north Coconut Creek, where single-family homes still come in under a lot of Broward medians.
  • 11am-4pm4223 NW 55th Pl - a long window, easy to fit around other stops.

Margate

  • 10am-12pm661 NW 65th Ter - Margate stays one of the most budget-friendly towns in the area, and this one is right in the mix.
  • 12pm-3pm1759 NW 80th Ave Unit E - a townhome-style unit close to Coconut Creek border.

Saturday times pulled from Redfin, Zillow, and Homes.com city open-house feeds on October 7, 2026. Schedules rotate weekly; confirm on the source page linked in the roundup below before attending.

New Construction Model-Home Tours

If you want to see everything a builder does in one visit, model homes are the best way to compare finishes, floor plans, and what a brand-new home actually costs. Two open-for-touring options in Palm Beach County right now:

  • Valencia Del Mar, Boynton Beach (GL Homes): the 55+ community is inviting visitors to tour its collection of designer-decorated model homes. If you qualify for age-restricted living (at least one resident 55+), this is a genuinely different product from resale homes, and Boynton keeps it affordable by South Florida standards. Hours and directions: glhomes.com/valencia-del-mar.
  • Apex at Avenir, Palm Beach Gardens (GL Homes): newer model designs just opened for touring. Palm Beach Gardens is north of my usual stomping ground, but if you are open to the northern part of the county, it is a clean, brand-new product worth seeing. More here: glhomes.com/apex-at-avenir.

A quick note on new construction: builders run their own incentives and preferred-lender programs, and it pays to have someone on your side of the table. If you tour a model and like it, text me and I will walk you through comparing the builder's offer with what a mortgage broker would get you.

First-Time Buyer Workshops & Seminars

Open houses are great for seeing homes; workshops are where you learn the whole process. Two verified October events for buyers in the area:

  • Saturday, October 17 - First-Time Home Buyer Workshop, Hollywood (Broward County): an early-morning start (8am) with a HUD-certified companion class, "Your First Home Starts Here," at 10am the same day. Free-to-low-cost classes like these are where you earn the homebuyer education certificate many assistance programs require. Details and registration: Urban League of Broward County and their Eventbrite listings.
  • Saturday, October 24 - Homeownership Education Workshop, Delray Beach: Gateway to Housing, a HUD-certified nonprofit in Delray Beach, is running a free in-person workshop from 9am to 4:30pm at the Marriott (910 W. Atlantic Ave). You leave with a HUD certificate, and the class is taught in English, Haitian Creole, and Spanish. That certificate is gold: programs like Hometown Heroes and county assistance expect it. Register here: gatewaytohousing.info/workshops.

Both are real, confirmed October 2026 dates pulled from the hosting organizations' own pages this week. Seats fill up, so register ahead if you can.

Financing & Mortgage Events: The Honest Update

I checked, and there are no verified mortgage-lender open houses or financing fairs published for October 10-11, 2026. That was true as of October 7. What is open instead: the Hometown Heroes program, which can provide up to $35,000 (5% of the loan) in 0% deferred down payment and closing cost assistance. Applications for the 2026 round run through participating lenders rather than county info sessions, and funding is limited and first-come, first-served.

The practical takeaway: you do not need to wait for an event to know your number. A pre-approval takes a few days, not weeks, and it is the single thing that turns an open house into a home you can actually buy. My lending partner, Austin Edwards at Ocean Blue Lending, handles these programs every week and can tell you exactly what you qualify for, including Hometown Heroes and FL Assist. Call or text him at 561-426-8238.

And if you want a ballpark tonight instead, the affordability calculator walks through your income, debts, and down payment in about two minutes.

My Tips for a Productive Open House Weekend

  • Check the live listings the night before. Sellers' agents move times and cancel opens all the time. The source links below are where the current schedule will be.
  • Ask about the three numbers that matter: the asking price, the HOA or condo fee (if any), and the insurance situation. Those three decide a monthly payment more than anything else.
  • Tour with your budget already decided. If you are not pre-approved yet, an open house is still a great education, just know the seller will want proof of funds before any offer.
  • Bring me along. Buyers who tour with their agent ask better questions, and sellers' agents treat those showings differently. My help costs you nothing out of pocket; I am paid by the seller's side at closing.
